Open Question: Do I have a medical condition?
I am a young adult – 25 years. As long as I’ve known I’ve had a generally good health and an athletic physique (without being involved too much in sports – just for recreational purposes from time 2 time). However, I’ve had a problem in the last 5-7 years. I sometimes feel like my heart hurts – like a form of palpitations. It’s a sensation that starts in my chest and runs along my left hand, and only my left hand. It’s something like a tickling sensation, like a mild pressure running along my left hand. For example, when I clench my left fist I feel like I have not the same power and strength as in my right hand fist.
This mainly happens only when I’m in a stressful situation, when I’m nervous or anxious or under pressure. I have to mention that as I child and teenager, I was put under a lot of stress, mainly because of my father, which I believe affected me mentally.
I’ve had some blood pressure tests – everything is within normal limits. I’ve had some heart tests – the doctor told me that I have an excellent heart, that I can become an airplane pilot:).
Do think I have a medical condition? …or it’s a common thing? What kind of specialist should I consult?
I also have to mention that my left hand is shaking sometimes (in the conditions mentioned above)
